Today, Mason Elementary School celebrated our first Mason House Assembly of the year! We welcomed new students and kindergarteners into their houses and spent the time designing our own homes. Together, these homes form our “Houses,” and our Houses come together to make our Mason community.
Students were also introduced to this year’s new initiative: Mustang Moments! Each staff member has 10 Mustang Moment cards to award throughout the year to students who demonstrate the values of our house system: self-control, honesty, gratitude, respect, self-reliance, determination, and responsibility.
Congratulations to Quinn Judge and Lennox Kilgore, who received the first Mustang Moments of the year! Thank you for helping make our Mason community a place where we learn, grow, and celebrate one another.
